I started practicing yoga to help recover from a Traumatic brain injury, and its been a godsend ever since. My classes are trauma informed and helpful for anyone in recovery. I've been teaching regularly since 2013 with a 200hr Yoga teacher certification and training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Children's Yoga and Pilates. I offer private, group and corporate classes, retreats and workshops. I've taught for The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Cleveland Metro School District, Manhattan School of Music, Abide Yoga, The Yoga Room Cleveland and The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.

Rope's Class was born out of my love of support and assistance during yoga. We don't always have a teacher there to lift our hips, press down our heels and maybe even offer a loving pat on the back. Wonderfully fostering the essence of yoga, we can offer ourselves support from within using Ropes. Leah Rachoocki, of Cleveland Rolfing and myself are so delighted to be offering a new kind of integrative wellness class. Saturday's from 12:15 pm – 1:30 pm, for $35 we are holding a Rope Wall Class at The Yoga Room Cleveland in Little Italy. In this class, we integrate traditional Iyengar Yoga, Rolf Movement, and Pilates for a holistic, safe, and effective class. Together we have a combined 35 years of experience leading integrated wellness practices. If you want to experience fascial ease and inner strength join us at Rope Wall Class!
Little known in NEOH, the rope was developed by Iyengar (1918-2014) to deepen yoga asanas, thereby improving the effectiveness of his practice. Joseph Pilates (1883-1967) and Ida Rolf (1896-1979) each left work that enhances the other. Rolfing frees the web of fascia with touch and Pilates teaches people to strengthen their ‘dark meat’ muscles. Sitting and other modern life habits limit the engagement of our fascia and muscles, which can cause chronic pain. Our Rope Wall class will guide students to engage their bodies to work the whole fascial web. Rope Wall class attended regularly, can transform your relationship with your body. The class is limited to 5 students, so you’ll be well-guided. We do encourage regular participation in Rope Wall class for maximum benefit. Students are asked to mind their bodies, mind their natural limits, and talk to us for alternate poses or additional support.
